چکیده
Closed die hot forging of 304L stainless steel is difficult compared to carbon and micro-alloyed steels in terms higher forming force defects. An appropriate combination design process factors including cross-section diameter, initial billet temperature, flash land thickness crucial minimize the without causing any under-filling or folding This paper aims develop an optimized closed-die for long, thin, tubular rail body components used gasoline direct injection systems. The effects on load are investigated using computer experiments containing finite element method under a full factorial array three at levels obtain main interaction effects. Linear quadratic surface response analyses performed define relation between input factors, finally, simulations validated with some limited experiments. simulation results that fit nonlinear regression model were close agreement experiments, optimal set parameters conveniently proposed industrial production.

this paper presents a hybrid method for the optimization of forging process of an aerofoil blade. preform shape and die parting-line angle are optimized in order to minimize the volume of the unfilled die cavity, material waste, forging forces. the overall optimization scheme used in this research work includes a multi-objective approach that is combination of response surface and finite elemen...
متن کاملEfficient Rapid Deodorization of Mercaptan-Contaminated Soil by Sono-Fenton Process: Response Surface Modeling and Optimization
The entry of mercaptans into the environment as an odor pollutant has always been considered as one of the environmental concerns. In this research, a sonochemical oxidation (sono-Fenton) method was used for rapid deodorizing of tert-butyl mercaptan (TBM) contaminated soil. The design of the experiments was conducted by CCD method and the effect of four different factors was investigated on the...

Statistical Analysis and Optimization of Factors Affecting the Surface Roughness in UVaSPIF Process Using Response Surface Methodology
Ultrasonic vibration assisted single point incremental forming (UVaSPIF) is based on localized plastic deformation in a sheet metal blank. It consists to deform gradually and locally the sheet metal using vibrating hemispherical-head tool controlled by a CNC milling machine. The ultrasonic excitation of forming tool reduces the vertical component of forming force. In addition, application of ul...
